About Hello Melody

Hello, I’m Melody — founder and illustrator of Hello Melody, an independent UK gift and lifestyle brand filled with bold colour, playful details and words that say exactly what you mean.

It started with one very personal gift

Hello Melody began in 2020, when a close friend moved into a new home. I wanted to give her something that felt truly personal, but nothing I found felt quite right — so I designed a print especially for her. She loved it and encouraged me to share my work on Instagram. That one thoughtful gift became the beginning of Hello Melody.

What started with a small collection of prints grew organically into a colourful world of original, hand-drawn characters, expressive patterns and cheeky words. Rooted between the UK and Turkey, the brand brings together joyful design, humour and the belief that everyday objects should never feel ordinary.

Every Hello Melody design begins with an idea and an illustration. Some are made to celebrate a birthday, a new home or someone you love. Others are simply there to make you smile, brighten your morning coffee or remind you not to take life too seriously.

Today, the collection includes colourful mugs, illustrated greeting cards, art prints and stationery, alongside designs for mums, dads, pet lovers, zodiac fans and people who appreciate a gift with a little attitude.

From one print to shelves around the world

Hello Melody has grown through the support of customers, independent gift shops and retailers who connect with our colourful, personality-led approach to gifting. Our products are stocked across the UK and Ireland, and selected designs have also reached the USA through Barnes & Noble and Just Love Fayetteville.

The collection may have grown, but the idea behind it remains simple: to create original gifts that help people laugh, connect, celebrate and feel seen.
